A single-speed bicycle taken apart and dropped into three environments it was never meant to exist in. Each component — wheel, crankset, frame — placed inside a world built from organic simulation: grass, cloth, fluid. The exercise was art direction through deconstruction.
Challenge
Making steel feel alive. Every environment had to transform the component without disguising it — the hub still reads as a hub, the chainring still reads as a chainring, even when wrapped in fur or submerged in liquid. Precision engineering surrounded by forces it can't control.
Solution
Three distinct palettes, three simulation systems. Warm amber with hair and grass dynamics. Neutral white with cloth and iridescent metal. Acid green with fluid simulation. The bicycle reappears whole only at the end — resting against ferns, returned to the world that claimed its parts.
